How does the game differ from the original.
The game differs slightly as the aliens move every 0.5 seconds down the page towards the gun. There are no defenses which makes the game more challenging. You only get one life when playing. The second screen is similar but has more aliens and a faster rate of 1 second.
My game ideas
I plan to create a classic Space Invaders game. I have created a storyboard to demonstrate how my game will work. The storyboard contains annotations and drawings of how the game may look.

How will the game be created?
The game will be created and executed using Game Maker 8.1. Game Maker is widely available to me and everyone else on the college system therefore, making it the best program to use.
