So you want to talk to the PDC about your idea or apply for Changemaker Funding Program. Start here first.
2. Do you have an idea that solves a problem or a pain?
If yes, proceed to the next question.
3. Is your idea original and your own?
If yes, then proceed to question 5.

If no, proceed to question 4.
4. Have you gotten the idea from someone else? Have you developed the idea while working for an employer and/or university or corporate researcher? Has this idea been developed with research grant funding?

If yes, there could be an issue with Intellectual Property which will need to be resolved prior to proceeding further. If it would appear that there are no IP issues, please proceed to the next questions.
1.Are you a student?
If yes, our Catalyst Fund for Student Changemakers and other resources may be of assistance, please contact us. If no, proceed to the next question.
5. Are there others who have an idea or venture that address the same pain?
If you have researched the market and are confident that your idea uniquely solves the pain, proceed to the next question.
6. Have you discussed your idea and gotten feedback from at least 100 people?


If yes, and the feedback has been positive, proceed to the next question.

7. Do you have partners or team members who are willing and able to work with you on the idea?
Entrepreneurs who work with partners or team members with complementary skill sets have a much greater chance of success than those who work alone; please proceed to the next question if you have a team in place.

8. Are you interested in mentorship opportunities?
If yes, our programming may be a suitable fit. Please proceed to the next question.
9. Are you a changemaker? AND Will your idea impact the world and/or the lives of people in it?
If yes, our programming may be a suitable fit. Please proceed to next question.
10. Would you be willing to first validate the idea on a small scale?
If yes, our programming may be a suitable fit. Please proceed to next question.
11. Would you be willing to bootstrap?
If yes, our programming may be a suitable fit. Please proceed to next question.
12. Would you be interested in participating in an innovators’ bootcamp and other learning opportunities?
