Julius Cesar conquered Gaul(France) which made Pompey felt threatened by Ceasar's reputation and Ceasar returned to Rome and was appointed dictaor for life. He also granted Roman citizenship for people + provices. He aslo expanded the senate, created jobs(Public buidings) and increase soilder pay.

On March 15 Juluis Ceasar was stabbed to death at the senate by Marcus Brutus and Gauis Cassuis. He was stabbed 14 times

Octavuis declared war on Mark Antony, as he fled to Egypt and fall in love with Cleopatra and Rome enter a civil war untill Cleopatra and Mark Antony commited suicide together.

Under Augustus lead, Rome went on t hav strong goverment which includes civil services(Tax Collecter, Grain Service and etc) and a very effective goverment. He also developed agriculture and trade(Silk Road).

Growing Gaps between rich and poor people in the Roman replubic cause the economic turmoil. 2 brothers Tiberuis and Gaius spoke out for them and try to reform but did not work and got killed causing a civil war in Rome
