Satoru Iwata was born on December 6, 1959. He had a long lasting love for technology and to no surprise when he got older he worked for a game tech company. His favorite food was chicken in a mixture of fried rices with vegetables and assorted meats. Later in his life he went on to a tech school where he met his wife, Kayoto Iwata. Satoru liked coding more than anything else. Later on he had a son and a pet.
Satoru did things outside of games as well. He programmed a device for NASA to track a satellite orbiting Earth. Satoru has helped make over 400 games. His favorite game of all is Kirby's dream land.
Satoru helped with these popular games. Earthbound. The Kirby series. The pokemon series. The smash bros. series. The super mario series. The legend of Zelda series. The Starfox series. Yoshi's island. Metroid. Animal crossing. The Game and Watch series.
As stated he loves code almost as much as family. At a tech institute he focused on coding and dissecting computers, one of his favorite pass times. He began his career in HAL laboratories, when there was only four workers. Satoru was the programmer. When HAL ran into a deal with Nintendo, they had to send Satoru away.
