I chose a cell phone because throughout the story, the girls were getting threatening texts from 'A'. When Alison was alive, she would pretend to be 'A' and send these texts and torture the girls. 'A' caused the girls to believe that Tabitha was Alison, so they killed her.

The story takes time over all: A littl emore than 1 year.
Mainly in Jamaica and Rosewood. Rosewood is where the girls live. Jamaica is where they spent spring break, and met Tabitha.
When the story happens, the girls are 17-18.
Don't judge a person based on their appearance. Judging people can lead to serious problems.
The girls judged Tabitha based on her looks, they assumed she was someone that she's not. They killed an innocent person just on judging her by her appearance.

They start thinking about Alison and Tabitha more now. They are constantly thinking about A and Jamaica. Then, it comes on the news. "Fisherman Finds remains of missing girl in Jamaica."

After then news broadcast ends, 'A' sends the girls another text. You think that's all I know? It's only the tip of the iceberg... and I'm just getting warmed up. -A

Over one year has passed since the girls killed Tabitha, and her remains are found 6 miles away from the beach. Aria is the one who killed Tabitha. She pushed her off the roof to protect her friends. They thought she was Alison and they wanted to get back at her for all of the horrible things that she did to them. Tabitha was an innocent girl, they killed an innocent girl.
Reporters believe Tabitha died because of a drinking accident.
The burns on Tabitha were from a house fire when she was 13, not from Alison's Pocono's explosion.

The four girls did something horrible in Jamaica that they will never forget.
It's been 10 months since it's happened and the girls haven't been too connected... until 'A' changes it all.
Rising Action
The girls join each other in receiving the first 'A' letter since Alison's house fire. The letter was written on the back of a postcard from Jamaica. The letter is...
"I hear Jamaica is beautiful this time of year. Too bad the four of you can't EVER go back there.
Missed you!-A"
'A' uses a clever way of getting the girls to meet in front of Alison's old house where A plants the letter. So what 'A' does is hack into each girls phone and text each of the girls pretending to be one another.
The exposition is the Flash back they have to Jamaica.
Nothing bad happens yet, it's just them enjoying their vacation.
It takes place 10 months before the story begins.
Besides A, Alison tortured the four girls, Emily, Aria, Hannah, and Spencer for years. Alison had a twin sister, Courtney. Courtney pretended to be Alison. Everyone thought that they were friends with Alison, but it was actually Courtney. Alison was locked up in a mental institution, when it was supposed to be Courtney. Then fake Alison was murdered and the real Ali returned to ruin the four girls lives. Real Alison took the girls to her Poconos house, planning to trap the girls inside and set if on fire. Her plan backfired and the girls escaped, trapping real Alison inside.

She did so much stuff to the girls that they can never forget. She killed 4 people. and almost killed the 4 girls as well.
Tabitha Clark: clever and likes to mess with people.
She met the girls in Jamaica and recognized them from the news and decided to mess with them and pretended like she knew them.
A- evil, rude, and sneaky
Stocked the four girls and tortured them by sending them notes, normally having to deal what something they just did.
Aria Montgomery- mysterious and jealous
Aria can't live to not know something. She wants to solve all mysteries.When her boyfriend Noel Kahn' s family received an exchange student, she was a teenage girl, and Aria thought she was going to steal Noel from her.
Spencer Hastings: smart and a mystery solver
She works hard in school and keeps her grades up. If there is some thing going on, like notes from Anonymous, she needs to find the answer and see who is blackmailing them.
Hannah Marin: outgoing, mischievous
Hannah gets into a lot a trouble and she is very different from all the others.
Emily Fields: nice and kind hearted
Emily is one of the nicest girls, she doesn't do anything to hurt people
