Welcome to the 3D Solar System Simulator.

Here, you can explore the depths of our very own solar system on your computer.

Open up your simulator

Moons

It should look like this:

Deimos

Phobos

How else to use it.

Click back until you are back into a heliocentric view (view of the entire system).

This App is a great tool to use whether for school or for fun. Thank you.

Once you open it up, it should look like this background.

Click on a moon of your choice. Phobos or Deimos. You can look at some of your moon's information if you want.

Mars

First, click on Mars once. Then you can explore random info about Mars (e.g. basics, water, relevance to earth, etc.). Then click on the side where it says "orbit". Look at what you see.

Click on "Structure" then "info" How about now?

How to use the Simulator

You can:

  • Explore a heliocentric view of the solar system.
  • Get info and pictures on moons, planets, and the sun.
  • See rotations and revolutions sped up.
  • And much more.
