Growing up, Sunday's revolved around church and Wednesday's included youth group. My parent's enjoyed volunteering and working within the church. Our faith has gotten us through many rough patches in life. We believe God places people in our lives that are meant to be there.
Family

Family comes first. These are the people who will always be there. The one's you can count on. This does not mean they have to be blood related.
Both of my parents grew up without a lot of resources. They both learned their work ethic from their parents. They worked their to build their lives. My dad worked midnights at US Steel and my mom was a secretart at Grimmer Middle School. Today, my dad has built his own business from the ground up and my mom is no longer obligated to work.
It's in our family mentality that that we can do anything we set our mind to. This is the way I was raised. No one can tell you your worth or what you can accomplish in life. My dad's business was not an overnight event. It took years to come to the point where he is today. My grandma thought my dad would never amount to anything since he didn't go to college. He is the most successful one out of his family. There's always a way to overcome hardships.
