The Epic entitled “Tuwaang” has three main characters, namely: Tuwaang, Binata ng Sakdana and the lady of Monawon (Dalaga ng Monawon). The protagonist in the story is Tuwaang, who fought for the hand of Lady of Monawon (Dalaga ng Monawon). The conflict of the story was, Tuwaang wanted to marry the Lady of Monawon, in order to accept her betrothal; he must first defeat Binta ng Sakdana for the hand of his one true love.
Instead of siding with his husband to be, The lady of Monawon sided with Tuwaang in the fight between Tuwaang and Binata ng Sakdana. In the end Tuwaang fought hard for the hand of Lady of Monawon. Giving him the permission to marry the Lady and take her with him to his homeland. Giving this epic one happy ending for our protagonist.
The epic also has vast setting from different parts of their own world, such as the boundless plain of Kawkawangan and the town of Monawon.
The text also involves gods and supernatural beings who are vital to the story and character’s progression and conclusion.
