The history of Ballet...

Ballet (balletto in Italian, in French ballet), is the name given to a style of dance and performance

The term derives from the Italian ballare which means dance.

Ballet in France

When Catherine de Medici Italian married with King Henry II and became Queen of France, introduced this type of show at the French court, with great success.

Classical ballet is the development and the transformation of primitive dance. The history of ballet began 500 years ago in Italy.
