Goal

Essential Agreements

To develop a visual for a school wide audience including parents, students and teaching community

which clearly articulates how students learn language and progress through the continuum at Concordian International School.

Standard C1. Collaborative Planning

C1.3 Collaborative planning and reflection addresses vertical and horizontal alignment.

Standard C3. Teaching and Learning

C3.7 Teaching and learning addresses the diversity of student language needs, including those for students learning in language(s) other than mother tongue.

  • Examine the process on the chart paper (same as below).
  • In table groups, discuss how our current practice answers the questions in the process chart.
  • Reach consensus on the validity of claims.
  • Cut up/paste items on the chart as you answer the questions.
  • Repeat until questions are answered as well as possible.
