- Determine presence, severity, and type of Aphasia

-Measure the patient's level of performance

-Provide comprehensive assessment of the patient's language assets and deficits

-Infer location and etiology of the lesion causing aphasia

Full battery: 30-45 minutes, additional 45-60 minutes for the reading, writing, praxis, and construction sections

-Bedside: 15 minutes
