Eugene H Trinh
Trinh went to Nasa in 1999 as a Senior Research Scientist. He studied Fluid Dynamics and Levitation for 20 years. Before he researched for NAS, he was a payload specialist on mission STS-50. This mission occurred in 1992 and lasted 13 days.
Trinh has published over 40 reviewed articles and authored many conferences in the areas Microgravity and Fluid Physics..

Eugene was born in Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City) on September 14, 1950.His original name was Trịnh Hữu Châu, but he changed to Eugene for convenience purposes.His family moved to Paris in 1952.Eugene then moved to the United States when he was 18.
In 1968, Trinh graduated from Lycee Michelet in Paris with a baccalaureate degree. He then went to Columbia University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1972. In 1974, Trinh went to Yale where he earned Masters of Science and Philosophy.
Trinh is still working and has not retired. He is the Director of Physical Sciences Research Division in the Biological and Physical Research Enterprise. He lives in McLean, Virginia with his wife Yvette Fabry and his one child.
