Plug Wires
- Plug wires are typically 10 inches long.
- Shorter then distributer.
How It Works?
- Uses coil packs for each individual cylinder.
- Every coil pack has its own ignition module in the coil.
Diagnosing
Easier way?
You can just remove coil and switch with known good coil
- You can probe power wire at igniton coil and check for battery voltage
- Ohms check ground circuit

- PCM controls the ignition module to switch on and off
- Power is hot at all times

Carefull when diagnosing missfire!!
LS1 can shut down injectors in an effort to save the cat.
