Step 4: Our Proposal
Step 3: What does this all mean?
1. To make the bus system more efficient, we put one lane on every street in L.A only for the buses.
2. To make it safer, we put on an all time security guard in the buses. This will also make room for more jobs.
3. We make public transportation more popular by advertising our new features in schools, offices, in houses and on bill boards.
Our 'New Features' consist of:
A) Snack and Drink Machine
B) I-Pod Doc (controlled by the driver)
C) T.V with educational programs
D) Table for Homework
From our graphs and questionnairs, we were able to conclude that most Los Angelinos don't trust the L.A bus system and therefore prefer to drive.
Though most people were aware that the bus
system existed, many were too afraid to ride it. However, many did agree to try it out if there was a way to make it more safe.
That is where we, The Organization for Public Transportation (TOTP), come in.
