The process of imposing a new law
In order for a law to become active, it has to go through The Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers, the Shura Council, then it has to be sanction by the King.
The legislation branch
The legislation branch in Saudi Arabia comprises of two bodies:
- The Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers.
- The Shura Council “Shura means advice"
•The main institution that pass laws is The Bureau of Experts.
• Each member in the Council of Ministers or the Shura Council can suggest any law.
