five facts about my inventor

Lloyd was born June 20, 1894 in Elgin Illinois.

Lloyd Hall invented new ways to preserve food in 1925.

He was a chief chemist and director of research at Griffith Labortories.

He had an interesting family background his grandfather was one of the founders of the Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church in Chicago Illnois, His grandmother traveled the Underground Railroad at 16, His mom Isabel, and his father Augustus were high school graduates.

Lloyd Hall majored in chemistry in college at Northwestern University in Evanston Illinois. He graduated in 1916 he later died January 2, 1971.

Lloyd invented the food preserver .

The problem it solves is it prevents food from becoming spoiled and keeps it fresh.

how is the invention used

The invention is still used today in stores for fruit and vegetables to keep them fresh, however another inventor invented the refrigerator to also preserve food.
