of Newtons three laws

Newtons 1st Law

A young girl trying to move a heavy brick but it won't move

Newton's 2nd Law

Two men are pushing a car on opposite sides and the car stays in the same place because the forces on the sides are equal

CARTOONS THESE DAYS DO SHOW THE PHYSICS THAT ARE TAUGHT BECAUSE THEY USE MOTION SUCH AS ACCLERATION AND FORCES SUCH AS PUSH OR PULL

Physics:

Newtons 3rd Law

A book just laying on a table no force applied at all

Laws Of Motion

Newtons three laws of motion are important because they tie into almost everything we see in everyday life. These laws tell us exactly how things move or sit still

Newton's three laws

By: Haley and Taylor

  • Sir Isaac Newton Bio

  • born on January 4th 1642 in Woolsthrope England.

  • His father died before his birth and his mother remarried and left leaving him to be raised by his uncle.

  • Isaac went to a local grammar school for a while until he left and enrolled at Trinity College.

  • He got his bachelor degree in arts

The Three Laws

F=MA

force=MassxAccleration

Examples

.

An object at rest will remain at rest unless acted on by an unbalanced force. An object in motion continues in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force

Newtons 2nd law

of isaac Newton's three laws

  • In the year of 1666 Newton made three of his greatest discoveries

  • White light theory: White light is composed of a mixture of other colors of lights, which, when split apart by a prism form a band of color called a spectrum.

  • Binomial Theorem: a method of caclulating the slope of curves and the area under them

  • Gravity concept: the attraction between bodies in space that holds planets, the moon, and comets in orbit, and draws falling objects toward the earth.

Newtons 1st Law

To dislodge ketchup from the bottom of a ketchup bottle, it is often turned upside down and thrusted downward at high speeds and then abruptly halted.

For every action there is an equal and opposite re-action.

Newtons 2nd Law

Calculating the amount of force to push a car foward

  • In the 1680s Isaac released his three-volume book "Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica"

  • Elected to parliment in 1691

  • appointed warden of mint in 1696

  • Elected president of the royal society in 1703

  • Knighted in 1705

  • Died March 20th 1727
