  • Regulates your body temperature.
  • 70% to 75% water is in a normal adult body.

Carbohydrates can be stored in muscles and liver and later used for energy

vitamins and minerals are two types of micronutrients although needed in small amount they play important roles in human development and well being.

Fiber is a substance found in plants. Dietary is the type of fiber you can eat which is found in fruits, vegetables and grains and is an important part of your diet

  • Protein grows, maintain and replace the tissues in your body muscles and organs are mostly made from protein.
  • To much protein can lead to weight gain.
  • The body uses protein to make hemoglobin the red blood cells that carries oxygen to every part of the body

Macronutrients are nutrients that give your body energy to perform needed action. The word "macro" means large, and these these nutrients are needed in large amount.

5 reasons to eat 5 fruits or veg everyday:

Fat is a component in food. Some foods, including fruits and vegetables, have almost no fat. Unlike oils and meat like beef they have plenty of fats.

  • Are low in calories than most of the other food and contains little fat
  • Full of vitamins and minerals
  • the fiber in fruits and vegetables help to lower blood cholesterol level
  • fiber in fruits and vegetables full you up and maintain your weight
  • lower the chance of heart disease and some cancer like lung and bowl cancer

But fat is an important part of a healthy diet. kids need a certain amount of fat in their diets so the brain could develop correctly
