Why "To Kill a Mockingbird" theme is relevant today

The connection between the novel and the article is that you can't judge people without any evidence. In the book Tom was convicted without any evidence but in the article they are waiting for evidence to convict Bill Cosby.

Second Connection

Modern Connection

In the book Boo Radley was made out to be a mean and terrible man, As the story goes on he turns out to be a nice man that helps people.

An article by Anthony McCartney shows that "To Kill a Mockingbird's theme is still relevant. The article claims that a woman is filing a lawsuit against Bill Cosby for sexually assaulting her when she was 15 in the Playboy Mansion. So far 20 other woman have come out saying Bill Cosby sexually assaulted them also.

Third Connection

Scout and Atticus are talking, Scout tells Atticus that Boo is actually really nice. Atticus just turns are and says, "most people are."
