-Herbert Kalmus invented the technicolor projector which allowed films to have color.

-Idea was brought up in 1917 but couldn't be made until 1935.

-Becky Sharp first film to be released in color, huge success.

-It was an evolution of form.

-It changed the manufacturing process.

-In 1927 Warner Brothers devolved the vitaphone which allowed movies to have sound.

-Many people tried to do this but no one could successfully do it

-The Jazz Singer was the first movie to be released with sound, it was a huge success.
