-Idea was brought up in 1917 but couldn't be made until 1935.

-In 1927 Warner Brothers devolved the vitaphone which allowed movies to have sound.

-Many people tried to do this but no one could successfully do it

-The Jazz Singer was the first movie to be released with sound, it was a huge success.

-Entrepreneurs Auguste and Louis Lumière bought the patent to what was thought to be a worthless idea: a 2 in 1 projector and video camera, they named it the cinematograph.

-They were many competitor, but held a competitive advantage over everyone.
