My SMART Health Goals
(Physical)
A goal that I"m really hoping to achieve
within this year is to get at least 60 mins.
of physical activity a day. I think this will be pretty fun since we just recently got a basketball hoop. Every day after school or after I do my homework and I will go outside to play basketball.
My SMART Health Goals
(Mental)
My SMART Health Goals
(Emotional)
Summary
All in all I have learned a lot
about myself and my physical,
emotional, and mental health.
I think that I learned a lot
about what I could think about
and work on, on a day to day
basis.
For my emotional health I want
to work on coping with my
problems better/more easily.
This topic is a hard one to
explain but basically when I'm
having problems with school or
friendships I will talk to someone
I trust about it and stay calm.
My goal for the mental category is to work on
not getting offended when I receive construtive
criticism. I can demonstrate this by for example if someone said to me to try to hold my recorder differently instead of being offended that they don't like the way I hold it I could just put their criticism to good use.
According to my health triangle, my physical, mental, and emotional health are well balanced.
-Strengths: I am not self-
absorbed and I have a
growth mindset.
-Weaknesses: I'm not
very good at accepting
constructive criticism
-Strengths: I get at least 8 hours of sleep every day and have a well balanced diet.
-Weaknesses: I don't get an hour of physical activity every day.
-Strengths:
I have more than 1 close friend and I can talk to others openly about my problems.
Weaknesses: I'm not very good with coping with my own problems
Signs of good mental health include having a high self esteem, having self control, accepting constructive criticism, and not being self absorbed.
Some ways to show physical health
are to get at least an hour of physical activity every day, get regular checkups at the doctor, and brushing/flossing your teeth at least twice a day.
A person who's emotionally healthy has more than one close friend, copes with their problems well, and demonstrates that they can speak to others openly about their feelings.
A health triangle is a triangle that shows how stable your mental, physical, and emotional health are in comparison to each other. It's determined by a series of 18 questions (6 for each category).
