Social And Environmental Factors That Affect The Heart

The first reason is drinking too much water. The cause of it is that it dilutes the amount of Sodium in your body. Sodium is important because it is needed to function your body. The second reason is due to Weather. If the temperature rises too much, the heart has to beat faster and work harder to pump blood around the body. It also has to pump blood faster to the surface of your skin to assist with the sweating to cool your body.

If the body does not cool itself enough, strain is put on your heart and as well as other organs in your body

Disease / Disorders That Affect The Heart

A Heart Attack usually occurs when the heart stops working. It happens because sometimes some sticky stuff gets stuck to the walls of our arteries and the way becomes blocked. For example: a road, If there is something ahead you cannot proceed. Same goes with our body, when blood cannot move further it starts coming back into the heart. The circulation of the blood stops. If the circulatory system cannot work, the heart cannot get fresh air and without oxygen your heart slowly, slowly dies. But sometimes your heart does not die fully. It has some parts that are inactive.

Relationship Between The Circulatory System And Respiratory System

The relationship between the Respiratory System and the Circulatory System is that the body needs both, The body needs the Respiratory System to inhale the oxygen and the body needs the Circulatory System to carry the oxygen along with the blood throughout the body. To summarize, the Circulatory System is the system that carries blood. Ex. Veins and Arteries and the Respiratory System is the system that carries oxygen. Ex. lungs

Functions Of The Heart System

How does the heart work?

What Is The Role Of Your Organ?

The heart works by using muscle tissue to pump blood between the four Chambers. The names of the Chambers are the Left Atrium, the Right Atrium, the Left Ventricle and the Right Ventricle. The Chambers pump the blood to the Lungs and out to the rest of the body. The Heart uses Valves to ensure blood flows in the correct direction as it pumps.

My system is the Circulatory system. The Circulatory system involves one important organ which is the Heart. The Heart is important in many ways but the main role of the Heart is to function blood around the body. The Heart usually beats 60 to 100 times per minute, but can go much faster if necessary. The right side of your Heart receives the blood from the body and pumps it to the Lungs. The left side of the Heart does the exact opposite, it receives blood from the Lungs and pumps it out of the body.
