$1.25

Monday, February 17, 2014

Vol XCIII, No. 311

History

the image below is an example of art

when was it started?

Back in the early 20th century. Milk was used to make plastic ornaments. Such as bracelets or necklaces.

intresting information

This should be an easy project, because most plastic is made of petroleum. All kind of plastic are polymers because their molecules repeat themselves.

Yet plastic feels diffrent. For example plastic cups and belt buckles.

If your thining about making this project this is how you can do it. Heating up milk and mixing vinegar together. The less vinegar you add the more plastic you have. Thought there is an extra step, which is adding "formaldehyde" but only factories use it, because its too dangerous. It helps harden the plastic, without it your plactic will be more sensetive. But it should still work.
