To address the problem, we have a GMO that will help with overpopulation. Our GMO is fast growing salmon with increased growth. Our GMO will help solve the problem because of its massive size which will feed more people in a shorter period of time. Our GMO will be able to grow even with the crazy and uncontrollable climate. The amount of food that Japan obtains with this GMO can and will feed all the people in Japan.

Our Meal Idea is a savory Miso soup with a side of Sushi rolls. The sushi rolls contain , avocado, cucumber, rice, seaweed, and salmon. We have prepared soy sauce with crazy hot wasabi. To drink, we have a fresh sweet coconut water. The Salmon is GMO it will be able to grow quickly to support overpopulation. "The FDA just approved the first genetically modified animal that people will eat" (TIME Magazine). This proves the GMO salmon is safe for consumption and will help save the 127.3 million people who living on islands in a total area of 145,925 mi².
Meal Idea
The biggest problem facing Japan is overpopulation. A second issue is that there is not nearly enough food to feed the tons of people. The Japanese people have been over fishing in the rivers and oceans near them and now do not have enough fish. With the GMO fish that grows faster and bigger the civilization with thrive better because it will have more food to feed the big population. And with the rice we will have that can grow in anything, then because of all the natural disasters that might occur, the rice will survive in it so there will still be food even though there was a natural disaster. With the GMO rice and fish then they will not run out of food, even if there is a natural disaster.
With these GMO's Japan will survive through
