The medical name for a nosebleed is epistaxis.

Concussion is a brief period of unconsciousness – someone with concussion may be confused, but only for a short time, followed by complete recovery.

A sprain is when a ligament has been twisted or torn.

A strain is when the muscle has been overstretched and has partially torn

You need to know how to apply first aid to 4 injuries. You will be assessed in a one to one interview with your tutor. This will be recorded for evidence. To help you download the St. Johns Ambulance App.
