If she wouldnt have met her business partner Max Ramirez.

In the year of 1996 Luquis created Latino link with her business partner Max Ramirez.

Her inspriation to create latino link is when she wanted a way to communicatee with other latinos she discovered therewasnt anywqys to reach out to other hispanics.

Latino link has 5 million hits every month its one of the most successful hispanic sites.

She won the national Hispanic business group “businesswoman if the year award of the year” in 2000. She also won the “Catalyst award” the same year.

Lavonne was born in San Fransico,Ca but raised between San Juan, Puerto Rico and San Francisco, Ca throughout her life.

Her father is from a Puetro Rican background and her mother was from a caucasian ackground.

When she was an adult she lived in San Juan, Puetro Rico for several years before moving back to the United States.

The name of the website is called latinolinkviews.com. This website has all types of updates on health, community, lifestyle, money, and converstories.

She was the chief executive officer and president of Latino.com. This was the first internet website too target the Latino population. She was the Medias spokesperson in Spanish which helped develop and implement new strategies for communicating with the Spanish speaking audience.

Prior to creating Latino link she worked in many newspapers. Between San Fransico and San Juan, Puerto Rico. She also worked for her father.

Lavonne was raised in between San Francisco and San Juan constantly on the move.
