Argentina is one of the most diverse and vibrant countries of the world and is renowned for its thriving nightlife, but the country's family-focus means that there are plenty of fun things to do for all ages.

Buenos Aires boasts all of the nightlife, cultural and entertainment options you'd expect from a cosmopolitan capital city, and its world-famous tango shows are not to be missed. With many of the city’s bars and clubs (boliches) only getting going after midnight, it really is a great place to party the night away!

For culture lovers, Buenos Aires has a variety of theatres and opera houses which also host concerts and ballets, and there are many festivals and events organised throughout the year.

Language

Standard of living

Spanish is the official language. English is widely spoken with some French and German.

The most striking features are the Italian sounding intonations and the use of a different verbal conjugation in the second person singular form. Argentineans use the ‘ vos’ form instead of the second person form of ‘tu’ used in Spain or most other Spanish-speaking countries. The phrase ‘you know’ in most Spanish speaking countries would be ‘tú sabes’ or just ‘ sabes’. In Argentina this would be ‘ vos sabés’.

First, airplane

Air travel has become the fastest way to

travel within the country.

Some airlines offer a 30-day pass called

"Pass Visit Argentina" containing four to eight tickets for domestic flights.

Also the International of Buenos Aires, there are two important airports on domestic flights: The Jorge Newbery (also called Aeroparque) and Cordoba (COR), also known as Pajas Blancas.

The taxi is a very common means of transport in economic and Argentina. In Buenos Aires alone the number of vehicles reaches the thirty-two thousand, so it is never difficult to find one. The fee is charged at the end of the journey, and depends on the time and distance traveled.

Argentina is an incredibly urban country with over 90% of the population living in cities.

The business landscape is slowly altering the daily schedule in Argentina, but few people view work as being as important as friends or family.

As you know there are different types of transfer Argentina has these different types of transport given its size, it is possible to travel in each of these when really necessary because in some cases it is more convenient to use different types of this.

For those who do go home to have an afternoon break, they may not get back to work until as late as 5:30 pm, then will work until nearly 9:00 pm, while those with more western-styled jobs may be home by 5:30 pm each night.

The "remise" are a variety taxi in which, unlike regular taxis, travel and price are fixed in advance with a deal of speech. So both sides are secured to avoid scams. The remise usually cheaper than taxis and are widely used for the airport.

None-the-less, the people do well financially, especially compared to many other South American countries as the GDP per capita is nearly $20,000.

Its many traditions live along its vast territory including Ushuaia, the "southernmost city in the world".

This means of transport, perhaps less developed than others, resulting, in turn, very economical. The most commonly used routes are running from Buenos Aires to Mar del Plata, and it will Bariloche. There is also a special tourist line, the "Train to the Clouds," which runs through the landscapes of the Andes.

The passion for tango

Accommodation in Argentina runs the gamut from campsites and youth hostels to fabulously luxurious estancias (ranches) and opulent hotels offering every conceivable amenity. Between these two extremes you’ll find a whole variety of establishments, including charming old colonial houses with balconies and dark and seedy hotels that lack so much as a window.

The tango is undoubtedly the most characteristic of this country dance. Over time it has become a tourist attraction and a professional dance reaching as far away as Japan.

Discounts can sometimes be negotiated, particularly if you are staying for a longer period. Bear in mind that taxes are often not included in quoted prices, while places aimed at foreigners may quote in US$ rather than pesos. If paying with cash dollars, you may be able to strike a deal on the exchange rate.

The passion for football in Argentina is so great that no wonder overseas constantly cite the fans of this country in football stadiums for their singing and joy. Diego Armando Maradona is considered one God and the world's best player of all time.

As you are aware many of the traditional dishes come from different colonial kitchens (Spanish) and migratory flows.

Changes in climate and soil conditions allow natural resources that bring the cuisine of different regions fruits, vegetables, spices and excellent cattle wealth.

The folklore

Considered the quintessential dance inside the country, it is also one of the musical styles that most appeals to the population for its rhythm and spontaneity. It has different types of dance as Chamamé, the Cat, the Zamba or Chacarera. During all seasons countless folk festivals are held throughout the country.

The theater and art in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires has been considered as a city always interested in culture. You starting from the obelisk in the heart of the city, you will find thousands of deals on text and local theater revue theater and musicals. Street art will also be present at each corner and traffic lights. At night, the illuminated canopies theaters and create an environment that has nothing to envy to Europe or the United States.

Food

Carbonada: with variations by region. Meat, pumpkin, corn, potatoes, tomatoes, rice and peaches. It can be served within a cooked pumpkin in the oven.

• Locro: popular dish consumed in almost all provinces. Wheat or corn with beans, sausage, pork legs and ears and the classical frying. This is made with onions, tomatoes, hot pepper and paprika is added to the locro a few minutes before serving.

• Guascha or huascha locro (almost locro) of thick soup like consistency made with shelled corn, squash, fat pellet and hot pepper.

• Empanadas: fried or baked, with or without spicy, with slight variations depending on the province.

Drinks

• Aloja (Catamarca and Tucuman) made from carob or quince, fermented with water and sugar.

• Chicha (provinces of North and Northwest): Alcoholic beverage resulting from the fermentation of corn sugar water.

• Wine patero (Catamarca): made without additives, only with a leather tread grapes, usually beef. It is well fermented drink once.
