Introduction of Pine Lake

A lake in Alberta, Canada

What caused it to occur & The effects

Second worst tornado in Alberta history

-is a recreational area

-located in the east of Rockies Mountain

-southeast of Red Deer, Alberta and northeast of the city of Calgary

-formed out of a severe thunderstorm

from the eastern slopes of the Canadian Rockies

-moved eastward

-created a narrow band of low-level moisture

-caused it to develop into a supercell thunderstorm

Pass:

- damaged 23km road

- destroyed 10km campground

- lost $13 million

- killed 12 people

- injured over 100 people

Future:

- precipitation increased

- permanent disability

- damaged the lake (garbage)

- humid weather (more virus)
