In 1985, Japanese government enacted the law, which women and men have an equal oppotunity to work. After enacting the law, even women become to take the important position in a company or organization. However, nowadays it is difficult for women and young people to get a job due to economic downturn. The fact is that job oppotunities for women decline when the economy gets worse. Meanwhile, I confused about working time from the article. Is the working time for women is more than 46 hours a week positive meaning? I think this hours is a little bit longer because the limited working time for a week is 52 hours in Japan.
