If a Big celebrity on social media takes a photo of what their wearing then many people will try to copy their style therefore making the products they are wearing popular in pop culture .Another way pop culture is affected by media and communication technologies is by advertisements. Advertisements in the media create an image for the product that is being advertised which is mostly greater than what it actually is.These advertisements persuade the consumers to go out and buy the product, the more consumers the advertisements persuade the more popular the product in pop culture.

In pop culture during the world cup soccer will be very popular so maybe some people may give up their sport to play soccer. Lastly, pop culture can influence your individual identity by making people lose some of their culture. In pop culture most things produced and released is in English so a boy in Ethiopia may learn English to understand, then may learn English customs

and then move to America and have kids. His kids will learn the English way and the culture will be lost.

Also, of the worlds top 500 transnational companies 170 of them are based in America more than any other country. With America having many of the transnational cooperations based in their country they influence greatly which ideas are produced and which products become popular in pop culture. Lastly, America is the most influential

country in pop culture because most worldwide celebrities are from America. In this day and age many celebrities are like walking billboards with their stature amongst their fans and worldwide so with most of them being american they are actually influencing their fans who want to be just like them to adapt some of the American culture. To conclude, because of the reasons stated above the United States of America is the most influential country in the world.
