Major Environmental Concerns

The temperate rainforest faces deforestation on a large level. temperate rainforests aren't as populated as some of the other biomes that have lots of vegetation, so large companies come here to get timber.

polution from human activities such as, farming and industry are also spread across here by being transported downstream.

Relationship to Surrounding Biomes

It is surrounded by deciduous forests and is often adjacent to oceans. It gets most of its water from the atmosphere and rivers that flow through the ecosystem. It is very similar to tropical rainforests and is often geographically close to them.

What it Looks Like- similar to kudzu and other ivy's. has larger leaves

It has been known to create lots of damage to buildings that it hosts on.

2 Seasons long and wet and short dry summer.

The temperature doesn't vary. not reaching above 80 F or below 32 F

The majority of precipitation is from fog.
