Materials
- 2-3 different brands of microwave popcorn
- A microwave
- 2-3 different bowls for the popcorn
- 2-3 Plastic bags for the separate kernels
Procedures
Hypothesis
- Microwave popcorn at 3 minutes and 30 seconds (depending on the strength of you microwave)
- Pour bag into bowl and count out all the kernels (place in separate plastic bag)
- Record data
- Repeat procedure with other 1-2 bags
Our hypothesis for this project was : Orville Redenbachers will probably have the least amount of unpopped kernels because research shows that Orville Redenbachers has a higher percentage of moisture content.
