Koro is a volcano on Koro island, in Koro Sea, in Fiji, making up a part of the Lomiviti Archipelago.
In the Southern Hemisphere
Koro Volcano is a Cinder Cone type. A Cinder Volcano is a volcano that has conical hill consisting of glassy volcanic fragments
However, the last time that it was believed to erupted, was in the Holocene time- 11,500 years ago.
Koro is actually an volcanic island. it forms an archipelago, Lomitiviti. It is between the 2 main islands of Fiji, between Viti and Vanuna Levu.
It is believed that Koro Volcano is a dormant volcano. this means that the volcano is active, so it can still erupt, but once in a while rather than frequently.
My prediction for future eruptions; I don't think tat the Koro Volcano is going to erupt anytime soon. based on the previous eruptions, which the last one was believed to have happened in the Holocene times, Koro seems to be a non-active volcano, yet there is no evidence that it is extinct...

*Psst- There is no known eruption of the volcano recently
*Shhh, don't tell anyone...
Koro seems to be a volcano that doesn't have a frquent flowing lava channel un-like other volcanoes. it os more like an over-flow valve. when there is too much lava going through one channel, the excess goes through the tube that leads to the Koro.
