Micro-Teaching presentation

Introduction / Routine

Goal of the activity

My favourites comedy movies

  • Find what movie the students will watch the next class

  • Teams of 4 (6 teams of 4 students)
  • Each team discuss 10 questions from the handout related to movies with their team (20 minutes - 2 minutes/question)

Menu of the day:

- Greetings

- Meme of the day

- Group discussion on teacher's favourite movies)

- Activity in teams of 4 related to movies

- Movie suggestion by teams + Questions

- Vote for next week movie

- Bye bye!

  • After discussion, each students choose 1 question to present later in front of their peers + Choose 1 movie per team

Meme of the day routine

  • Students present their question and answer in front of their peers (while standing up at their desk)
  • The team give their movie
  • Finally, teacher writes down movies on the board

5. Name the most boring film you have ever seen and explain why.

6. What movie could you watch over and over again? Explain why.

7. Which actor/actress do you find the most funny? Explain why.

8. If you could be in a movie, what movie would you be in? Explain why.

9. Which character in a movie would you like to be?

10. What movie do you want to watch next week? (Discuss and choose 1 movie for your team)

Everybody receive one handout and they need to write down their answers on the handout

  • Part 2 - Presentation

1- Ask team 1 which movie they chose & Why they chose that movie (write down movie on board)

2- Ask each team member what question they chose and listen to them

3- Repeat step 1 & 2 for the other teams
