Our target group
Secondary target group:
- Youth counsellors, educational counsellors, social workers, VET teachers with special tasks, employment counsellors etc.
- Politicians and other decision makers both locally/regionally and nationally.
Primary target group: NEETs
"Not in Education, Employment, or Training"
Youths who risk becoming social outsiders with limited chances of a self-sustaining life
Often lack of both motivation and relevant skills
Transitions are the most sensitive phases on their pathways to education or employment
Challenges
- Young people feel lost "in the system", and the professionals experience frustration when cooperating in the interfaces between their professions
- Despite political focus the total number of NEETs is not decreasing
- Yet demands of society are increasing; the European societies are aging, and the trades are calling out for skilled workers
NEETs with a potential to create a sustainable life for themselves
