Labour Field

Advantage and Disadvantages

Private Sector: litigant or legal advisor

Public Sector: Ministers , Judge, Notary , head in positions of elected office . education sector : teacher or researcher at universities and institutes of higher education

Advantages

There is a lot of different fields in which I can use my expertise, I can either be into corporate law that has the perks of making a lot of money and not having to go to court at all, or I can choose to become a criminal like me, civil or environmentalist lawyer in which you have to face the District Attorney at court and really be in the action of it all.

Also one of the greatest perks of being a lawyer is that you get to help the underdog and really make a difference in your Country or maybe in the world.

You really can make a lot of money if you are good lawyer, and if you have your own firm you are the owner of your time and clients.

One advantage that I like is that the labour field it´s very wide and you can choose from many sectors and labor camps.

- If you want to practice in another country you have to prepare because the laws are different.

- Sleep late to be reading

- You do not go to parties

- a lot of stress.

Disadvantages

Luis Díaz

One of the main disadvantages is that if I have or want to move to a different country I can’t practice law because the systems are really different, but in some cases you can do a bar exam or study the laws or sometimes study again the degree of that Country. Another disadvantage is that by being a lawyer you are prone to receive a lot of blacklash. Because people have this very set notion that we are all crooks and criminals that just want to scam the system and our clients.

Why did I choose this degree?

I chose and decided study Law because it is the most noble profession of them all, it requires much study, reading and learning not only about the laws, but also you need to know culture and other knowledge from other professions. You study to be the voice of the people that sometimes do not have one, and to protect the foundations in which our country was established.

WHY DID I CHOSE THIS DEGREE?

I Chose this degree because I like justice , anyone taking advantage of another person without good reason. also another reason is that I want to be political then I think to be a good one have to study law because you know a lot.

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES

- Usually lawyers have a good salary .

- Studying right develops your judgment , and your potential to defend your ideas.

- Usually , you will have access to political office.

- It's a career that allows you to do social work and humanitarian aid.

Main Characteristics

I think is one advantage, because you can do it a lot of thing as a lawyer, the labour field is wide, so you can work in a lot of sectors, in a companies in the government, in business, in a firm or like a particular lawyer.

There are two sectors in the law, the private and the public, in the private you can work in the companies, that includes all the business, labor or civil lawyer. And in the public sector, you can work in all the government, like a functionary or creating laws, like senator or deputy, notary, minister, secretary of government, etc.

Study law is hard and difficult, you need to study and read a lot, you always have oral exams and know not only about laws, you must know also about culture, politic, economy and other things that as well have to do with the laws. Is a long degree, in some schools the law degree lasts 5 years. It is a demanding degree choice because of the amount of information you have to know, also it takes a toll because of the demanding hours.

You always have to study and upgrade the last news and laws, because the laws changes often, and you need to be upgrade in all the topics.

I think it’s a very social degree because you need to know and relating with the people.
