How did Josh Dun and Tyler Joseph meet?
Twenty Pilots is a band that has had an impact on many lives (mostly teens) their songs mostly consist of lyrics that most of their fans can relate to.
The way Josh and Tyler who is the only Twenty One Pilots band members met at a concert where Josh was invited to by the then-drummer Chris Salih where he met the lead singer Tyler Joseph and built a friendship.

How did Josh end up in the band?
At the time Nick Thomas and Chris Salih had busy schedules which caused them to leave the band which left Tyler by himself. Josh then quit his job at the guitar center to play one show with Tyler. They played one song until officers canceled the show. From that day forward Josh was the full-time drummer for Twenty One Pilots.
They just make music that is so relatable to most teens with anxiety and depression but they aren't like most bands that talk about suicide in a way that makes it sound like something you should do and take the risk of doing. They speak of suicide in a way that shows their listeners or fans that suicide isn't the option you should do and that things do get better you just have to give it time.
How has Twenty One Pilots impacted many lives?
It has impacted people in ways that is amazing. They have prevented suicide through music. For me they make me feel calmer during moments of panic and when I really start feeling my crippling depression the music Josh and Tyler makes, makes me feel much better and that is what its done to most people that I know.
