My Mom and Dad played soothing music to me to help me fall asleep when i was a baby.
At this age the music helped me to calm down and fall asleep.
My Mom and Dad played learning tapes to me when I was young (including songs about my ABC's and counting) to help me learn in different ways and remember the lyrics more easily.
These tapes helped me to learn many important things such as my ABC's and my 123's .At this age I would also listen to read aloud books, these helped me to learn how to read and write.
When i was younger, I had a tape recorder which helped me read along with previously recorded books, aswell it allowed me to sing and record my own music.
With my own tape recorder I could record my own choice of music, and play it back if I wanted.
At school we would sing along to alphabet songs and counting songs to help us remember the information included in the songs.
I received my very first CD player, as well as some CD's to listen to on my new CD player, and I was able which to listen to my own choice of music.
Having a CD player made me feel like a "Big Girl" I could choose my own style of music, and listen to it when I desire to.
I began to learn the recorder in grade 4. This helped me to experiment and compose with different sounds and styles of music.

Me and my sister began to learn guitar, it was very hard at first, but once you get an understanding of the instrument it begins to come naturally.
After having to play and listen to the same songs repeatedly I began to appreciate the musical background of a song, not just the vocals.
I went to my very first concert, it was for the band One Direction. I absolutely loved the concert, One Direction is my favourite band but I hated the opening act, she was terrible.
This concert helped me to realize my true likes and dislikes of music. Likes- One Direction! Dislikes- Opening Act!
12 -14 years old
I have currently been playing the clarinet in music class from grade 7 - 8 with my classmates.
Playing the clarinet has helped me to realize how much hard work and effort goes into creating a song.
6 months - 1 and 1/2 years old.
2 - 3 years old.
3 - 4 years old.
These songs helped me remember very important information. Many songs I still sing to myself if I am in need of its contents. These songs introduced to me that a song can have a deeper meaning if listen closely to the lyrics.
4 - 6 years old.
7 years old.
9 years old.
10 - 11 years old.
