Nanotechnology

Nanotechnology's uses in everyday life

Social

- Used by many products such as bullet proof vests, sunscreen, antibacterial agents, etc.

- Nanoparticles are being used to contribute to stronger, lighter, cleaner and more efficient surfaces and systems.

- They may also present problems regarding the environment as well as young children, if certain particles are exposed.

- Nanotechnology and nanoparticles make up and are included in lots of things in our everyday lives, such as clothes and food. They make things last longer and serve many medical purposes.

- It is used to make our lives easier and much better.

- Nanotechnology can be used in advanced sciences and products that will benefit a countries' economy and workforce.

What is it?

Environmental

-Nanotechnology and Nanoparticles are very, very tiny invisible particles that are used in the construction of many everyday products such as sunscreen or solar cells. They are known to exhibit many unusual properties.

Usefullness of Nanotechnology

- Scientists aren't very sure of many nanoparticles affects on the environment.

- The affects could be very beneficial or very harmful towards plants, animals and people.

- People have to be careful of what types of nanoparticles they release into the environment.

Economical

Nanoparticle structures can be formed into water repellent surfaces which do not allow water to pass through them.

- Nanotechnology will help to create jobs, while also making jobs easier for other with advancing technology.

- It could potentially cause people to lose jobs because in the future, advanced nanobots could take care of health problems.

Nanotubes that are created from nanoparticles boast amazing strength and electrical conductivity.
