Potential Threats
One potential threat is the illegal cutting and removing of plants and valuable trees. Plant diseases are also a threat. Phytophthora is a root rotting disease that is harmful to the Tasmanian environment. Devil Facial Tumour disease is another disease. This disease ruins the face of a Tasmanian Devil and it dies within a few months. Wildfires are another obvious threat for this rainforest.
