-In Tabula, there was a board like the board shown below and the 2 players had 15 pieces each. You roll 3 die and depending on the number the die give you is how many spaces you can move 3 seperate pieces. All pieces move counter-clockwise. The Objective of the game was to get all your pieces off the board before your opponent by moving them through all the spaces.

Rules: If a player's piece lands on a space with the other player's piece, the other player's piece is kicked off the board and has to start from the beginning. If a player has 2 or more pieces on one space then the other player cannot have their pieces on that space. All 3 rolls must be used if possible, rolls that cannot be used cannot be recovered. A player cannot move to the other side of the board unless all their pieces are on the board. A player's pieces cannot leave the board unless all pieces are on the last half of the board.
-Tabula is now modern day backgammon, but backgammon now uses 2 die instead of 3.
-Games can take from 15-60 minutes depending on luck, strategy, and how many times you send the other player's piece back to start.
-This game is not related to any other ancient game but is similar to Go or Mancala
