IMPLODING AN ALUMINUM CAN WITH DIFFERENT TEMPERATURES OF WATER!

Statement of the Problem!

  • Purpose: Implode aluminum can using water

Hypothesis: Increasing hot water and

decreasingcold water will implode the

can.

Procedure

  • Dependaant Variable: Rate at which the can implodes

Brief Summary of the procedure: In the experiment the aluminum cans were imploded, and the rates of implosion were tested as the temperatures of the water were varied.

Data

Data Analysis

Graph:

Conclusion

Aluminum Can Implosion myth=busted!

temperature condition of water effected the results of how fast the can was crushed.

When cold air in the winter air meets the heat from inside of someones car, the window of the car devolopes a crack!

Proved our hypothesis to be correct!

  • Independant Variable: Hot and Cold water

Air pressure!

  • Controlled Variables: Temperatures of the hot and cold water
