Table of Contents
Why do we need an ISN?
- Each binder will have a table of contents
- Provided by the teacher
- This will show what is on what page for easy searching and grading (user friendly)
- Show grades for your notebooks
- Before each notebook check a refreshed table of contents will be put on the board so you can keep your note book organized and updated
- It will show what's being graded on the notebook check.
- ISN- is a Interactive Science Notebook
- Provides a hands on notebook for the students
- Better way for a teacher to track the students learning
- Resembles what college students and even scientists do.
- Teaches students organization skills
- Provides excellent examples of students work for parents.

- Today we will organize last week's assingments and start our table of contents.

Notes, Quizzes, and Tests
ISN Order
- Since notes are printed out, we will hole punch them and place them in the correct order in our notebooks
- We will start with the notes we did last week.
- If you need a new copy there will be copies in the back in the assignments holder.
- All quizzes, tests and handouts will also be hole punched and added in the correct spots.
- All labs will be done on scratch paper(lined paper) or possibly handouts, and placed in the appropriate place
- Vocab will be in the binders also, sometimes it will be a reading work instead were you copy down a table/drawing or summarize a section of the chapter

Brain Teasers
- All will be answered on one page
- We will put the date and then the answer to the teaser
- The layout of the page will be similar to the table of contents. It will have a date column instead of a pg # column.
- Brain teasers will be graded every notebook check
