Phase 1: Production

The production process begins with a product development team designing the iPhone. Then there is a 6 week cycle of building, testing, improving, and rebuilding. The manufacturing of the iPhone takes place in factories in China.

Entrepreneur: Steve Jobs

Phase 1: Production

Phase 4: Customer Satisfaction

There is an excellent reason that Apple has been the computer company with the highest rate of customer satisfaction for 7 years. The reason Apple products like the iPhone receive great customer satisfaction is Apple's dedication to and emphasis of innovation and quality that began with Apple's entrepreneur Steve Jobs. The stores are the most important part of customer satisfaction because that it what the store experience is designed for. Everything from the sleek architectural design to the geeky/hip young employees to the support from the Genius Bar.

Phase 3: Distribution

The packaging process begins with a design team for boxing. iPhone prototypes are taken to a high security packaging room where they are unboxed and put in the packaging.

The distribution phase begins with the product launch. iPhones are transported by truck, train, and plane to retail stores all over the world. Apple itself doesn't put any effort into advertising , stores and networks that sell iPhones do all of the advertisement for them.
