The Beveridge Model is based upon the idea that healthcare should be provided through the government and paid by taxes. Doctors under this health care model tend to be government owned doctors rather than private and the costs per capita are extremely low. From 1980 to 2007, New Zealand had the lowest costs per capita on health insurance rather than all the other countries built upon health care models and the United States. Each personspent on average about $2,545 US dollars. New Zealand also has tax rates based upon income that benefits the government provided health care. Rates are as high as 33% for income over $70,000 and as low as 14.5% for income lower or equal to $14,000
The Bismarck model runs upon a 50% income tax in Canada. This model was created by Germany as a non-profit insurer that promises to cover everybody as long as they pay their taxes. The Bismarck model was created in the end of the 19th century in Germany, whereas the doctors are more leniant to becoming private instead of being government run.
Pros -
The Bismarck health insurance policy is that this is guaranteed to help everyone in need of insurance and there is sales tax or any other type of tax in all of Canada except for Montreal where there is a 15% sales tax.

The Bismarck model in Canada is that there is a 50% income tax for all types of income unless you are under the age of 18. Also the doctors tend to be private rather than public
