Elizabeth Lavenza

by Ashley Thompson

Elizabeth is a dependably good, loyal, beautiful character

who is static throughout the book.

She is loyal to Justine even though no one else is, and is described as a "garden rose among dark-leaved brambles." She is kind and sympathetic to everyone's needs continually.

A garden rose

Elizabeth

Loving, gentle, sweet,

Daughter of Alphonse, wife of Victor Frankenstein

Who loved peace, justice, and Victor

Who wept for Justine, saw the good in all, and loved to help

Who feared Victor didn't love, feared Justine would be condemned, feared Victor was ill

Who brought the family together, searched for knowledge

Who wanted to marry Victor, wanted to save Justine

Born in Italy and lived in Geneva

Elizabeth's biopoem

The biopoem that I wrote about Elizabeth Lavenza contributes to my overall thesis because it shows what she stands for and where she came from. The poem shows how Elizabeth spent a lot of her life selflessly.

The logo that I created to portray how I view Elizabeth contributes to my thesis because my logo gives the sense that Elizabeth is sweet and meek, and that she isn't self-seeking. I wanted to give a picture of the static character Elizabeth is.
