2-3 years leave pack find territories and mate on own.

Same and Different of the Gray Wolf and Red Headed Woodpeacker

The same is that their parents both take care of them. They both have fur and about the same number of eggs and pups.The different stuff is the red headed woodpecker lays eggs and the gray wolf comes out of the moms stomach. The bird lays 3 to 10 eggs and the wolf has 4 to 6 pups. Woodpeacker 2nd stage is a chick and wolf 2nd stage is a cub. wolf live 7 years in wild bird 24 to 31 days.
