Fennec foxes have very large ears and a small nose.
Fennecs have thick hair to protect themselves from the hot sun. Their coats are long, and soft, and with range in color from a light red, to greyish white, to almost white. Their undersides are pure white, and their tails are bushy with black tips. Fennecs are usually 8 inches tall and weigh 1.5-3.5 lbs.
The Fennec fox eats meat, insects, rodents, and reptiles.The fennec fox mainly feeds on raw meat. They get their meat from birds, rabbits, and mice! If a few of their food population dies down the fennec would probably eat eggs or insects. The fennec fox chews its food in its mouth with its teeth.
