Neil Armstrong lands on the Moon

20th Century

20th Century

I chose this event because it was the reason the U.S. won the space race. Not only that, but he was the first person to land on the moon. It was a huge leap for not only America, but the world.

I chose this event because it was the first time that deadly chemicals were accidentally released covering lots of land. People were killed, and lots of mutations occurred. It proved even more so that you had to be safe and careful with chemical plants.
