About the test...

It can be administered by any professional who:

•Is familiar with the test

•Has received training in the process of individual test administration

•Has read the methods for computing raw scores and using norm tables

However, in order to interpret the test, formal coursework in assessment is necessary, and the individual must understand the strengths and limits of derived scores as well as errors of measurement.

-Be careful of labeling

•They may change their answer and the administrator must score the new response

•If there is a multiple word response that contains the correct response, count it as correct unless the combined response is incorrect.

•It is not a test of articulation- do not penalize articulation errors

•Familiarization is ok (horsey, ducky, etc.)
